Do you hear the call? I did. I heard it loud and clear yesterday.
The mountains were calling me, so I obliged. The afternoon was so beautiful that I hopped in the truck for the short drive north and then uphill. Way up, to the top.
Where it was breezy and 12 degrees cooler than the flatlands below. While we are several weeks away from top fall colors and leaflooker traffic, the clean air and quiet were still a great refresher.
Mother Nature heals us, so try a dose soon yourselves. And if you can’t get away for a little while, just take this virtual drive with me from the comfort of your office cubicle.
