Cool Weekend
We are going to have a relatively cool summer weekend.
Watch the forecast and get out there in between rain showers. The streams in the mountains should fish well the next few days

UO Fishing Report - 8/10/19
While most north Georgia streams are low and warm, there are still some good trout fishing opportunities for anglers still stuck on salmonids.
DNR continues stocking a good number of cold, higher elevation streams and chilly tailwaters where the water temps stay under 70 degrees. It’s best to fish them in the morning shade.
Option 2 is to hike way uphill for blueline wild trout. The number of rises and beautiful colors of streambred trout more than compensate for their small size. A short rod, short (7.5 foot, 4x) leader, and a few dries (size 14 or 16 stimulators, elk hair Caddis, or parachute Adams) are all you need for a successful blueline trip. That is...
